Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari pengempulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarik kesimpulan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yakni deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan datanya berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Abstrak Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pengembangan wisata Air Terjun Kembang Soka Dusun Gunungkelir Desa Jatimulyo Kecamatan Girimulyo Kabupaten Kulon Progo serta hasil dari pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui wisata Air Terjun Kembang Soka Dusun Gunungkelir.
Second, empowerment result devide four: the increasing of people caring, the increasing of people independent, open job vacancy and the increasing of income. Result of this research are first, the proces of people empowerment through the development of Kembang Soka Waterfall tourism in Dusun Kelir there are two proces: relizing process and empowerment process. Data analyze technique in this research utilizes interactive analyze consisting of data collecting, data reducing, display data and conclusion. The kind of this research is qualitative descriptive and data collecting technique are observation, interview and documentation. This research describes about people empowerment through tourism development of Air Terjun Kembang Soka in Gunungkelir sub-village, Jatimulyo village, Girimulyo sub-district, Kulon Progo City serta hasil dari pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui wisata Air Terjun Kembang Soka Dusun Gunungkelir. The method of implementing this activity is preceded by collecting information from partners' conditions, designing activities to be carried out, followed by program socialization, conducting training, mentoring and evaluation. The purpose of this program is create availability of adequate equipment and partners being able to increase the amount of handicraft production by 30%, partners being able to increase sales by 30%, and all members of the craftsman group being able to understand group management and be able to make group bookkeeping. The problems faced by this craft business group are inadequate production equipment, lack of insight into online marketing, lack of knowledge of group management, division of tasks members and recording the administration of financial statements carefully and thoroughly. Based on observations, there are palm leaf craft business groups that really need help to overcome the problems they face. However, the prospect of this palm leaf craft business is still not optimal. The palm leaf craft business is the economic foundation of the community in Madangan Kelod, Gianyar. Palm leaf craft is one of the crafts that has good prospects and is in great demand by tourists because it is made of natural materials and has a very artistic shape.
